MAC BENFORD IN CONCERT (2019)

Mac Benford, of Highwoods Stringband fame, immersed himself in old time music for 60 years. His banjo playing, singing, and teaching influenced generations of musicians, leaving a lasting impact on the tradition. Here in his last solo performance on June 22, 2019 at the Brandywine Revival Festival of Old Time Music, we feel the joy of his life’s passion continue at 79 years young.

VESTA JOHNSON AND STEVE HALL IN CONCERT (2021)

In honor of Vesta Johnson, a revered fiddler who passed away on March 5, 2021, this is a recording of a concert she performed on June 2, 2012 at the at the Central Rockies Old-Time Music Festival. Beloved by her family and friends, Vesta’s music continues to be a treasured source of inspiration to countless musicians.
